思い出
今日、俵まちさんの本を読んでいる。 難しいけど面白い物語だと思っている。 この物語は、日本に住んでいたことを思い出させる。 物語の第一の文は 「教職を退いて、半年がたった.」 です。 今まで、私と同じです。 半年前、日本で英語を教えていたんです。 私も生徒たちが時々思い出されるんだから。 今も英語を勉強してるとか考えている。 ちょっと懐かしいよ。

I am officially weird.
This new job is really complicatd >< I mean, it’s awesome and interesting and the people in the office are great, but there is so much to learn that I’ve been exhausted every day after work so far.
I got to know some of my co-workers better today at lunch. I told them a little about what I’ve done with my life so far, and they thought it was funny and interesting and weird….
“So what else have you done? Have you toured with Cirque du Soleil or something?” one asked.
As the title says, I am officially weird.
But I’m ok with that.

そしてちょっとのんびりしてるよ～ Lol
今日、ショッピングにって、スーツを買った。なんで？新しい仕事を始めたから！
そうそう、no more job hunting! 昨日から、繁華街の事務所で働いているんです。 弁護士の助力することになっています！この弁護士の特色は移民をたすけるとかのです。 面白いそうですね。でも、多分難しいでしょう！ いろいろなインフォメーションを習っている。 じゃあ、頑張ります。 やる気！
I am definitely excited about it, but also nervous! I get to use my Japanese a little bit too, since it is an international business. I think it’ll be a great opportunity to gain a lot of experience in several different areas. The other office workers seem really nice, which will make it more enjoyable.
買い物をしたから、ハイキングに行きました。 Am I crazy? やっぱり１８Fだけでした（－１０Cぐらい）。 四十分でしたけどずっと寒かったよ～！ 家に帰ったら、ホット・チョコ飲んだ ＾＾ But it was nice to see the frozen streams and the birds all fluffy with their winter feathers.
明日、一日間－１０C！ ここのお天気が大変なので、鹿児島に戻りたい；＿； It’s a good thing I rented some DVDs the other day! Hahaha. My plan is to stay inside all day and watch movies! I’m prepared

医者さんに行って来ました
今日もちょっと気持ち悪い。
先日、また医者さんに行って来た。医者さんが私に新しい薬を 処方してあげた。この薬を飲み始まってから、口の中に苦い味がしてる。副作用だけですけど本当にキモイわよ。ずっとチューイングガムかミントとかなめてるんです。昨夜、味がとても苦くて、何度も何度も目が覚めたから。
But anyway.
今晩、ポテトとねぎグラタン作る。今週はずっと寒いだってから、典型的な冬の料理を作ろうと思う。今日はフランスの冬の料理、明日は日本の。
日本語の勉強については、面白い本を図書館から借りている。もっと勉強しなくちゃ ＞＜

東ヨーロッパ料理は美味しいと思っている。今週末、ロシア風の鳥肉を作りたい。
今時、料理に関心を持つようになっている。なぜか、とくに東ヨーロッパやロシアの！ それで、ロシア料理のタイトルを言うのが好きです （笑） ロシア語を話すことって楽しいから！

And the winner is….
This time around, the presidential race seems more like a horse race to me than an actual bid for office. Last night I watched the Iowa caucus results live on Nightline, and the whole thing just seemed more about “WOOHOO MY GUY ROCKED!” or “Well, wait till the race next week! We’ll be training hard till then grrrrrr!!!” I just found it a bit ridiculous. The earliest primaries and caucuses ever… Personally, I think this is going to be Clinton’s downfall, since she started SO damn early.
In other news, 今週、仕事探し中です。電話を待ってる＞＜ It sucks. I’ve been trying to send psychic messages to companies to get them to call me for an interview, but so far, no dice. All I can do is keep trying.

真冬 brrrrr…..
今１２F （－１１C）！！ Sooooo cold ohmygosh. 風が大変ですよ。雪も降ってる。
It is definitely winter in Ohio.
なんでこんなに寒い所に住んでいるの？？ It is nice here in the summer… but right now I have to wonder.
Anyhow, so I thought, new year, new blog. I am starting over in many ways right now: new place to live, new job, new fitness plan, etc. Also, 日本語をもっと勉強したいなんです。フランス語も。 そしてこの日記は多分3語で書くつもりですｗ
Crazy? Nah.. but maybe a little ADD.
今日、面白い番組を見ている。「どの星から着ましたか」っていう韓国のドラマなんです。 明日も寒そうだから、また見るでしょう。
The one thing Ohio winters are good for is watching TV and drinking hot cocoa!
